Hotel was very nice! Especially impressed by the front desk staff. Upon arrival in Madrid, we saw a poster for a show we wanted to see, and not being local, wern't certain how to get tickets. The man at the front desk went the extra mile, phoning the ticket office and attempted to get us the best possible tickets. Although we wern't able to get the tickets, we were floored at the extra mile taken!

Very poor room, dirty carpets, furniture and decor in need of complete renovation. Could hear the person in next room talking on phone.

excellent location, easy to reach from the airport (metro station directly in front of the hotel), many restaurants, shops, sightseeings close to the hotel

the noicy doors when closing, no view from window (the inside building walls only visible out of the window) = almost no natural day-light in room, but no big issue if you stay over nights only in the hotel

The local is grate, in the center, but when we arrived on Sunday, we had a problem because the streets was blocked and the taxi had to try lots of streets and we ended up leaving the taxi one block away from the hotel. It was not good because we had 3 bags and a little child (10 months) and we were just a couple.

I didn´t like the ventilation of the hotel. There was no fresh air. The window opened for a internal area and there was no wind. There was no air conditioned. I imagine that in summer it would be worst.

the location of the hotel very near to the city centre
