in the center of the old Avila the parking fee is a little bit high, actually it is easy to find a free parking plot just outside the old town |

A lovely hotel - very helpful staff, many of whom spoke English; comfortable, spacious rooms and bathrooms; very clean throughout and perfectly located in the heart of the old city, brimming with historical interest. This hotel was recommended by friends who live locally and I would definitely use it again. |

The hotel is ideally located opposite the cathedral & within the city walls The the 1970's the hotel was deserving of it's 4 star rating, but now the carpets are thread-bear, & the decor is looking tired. |

the convience of being in the middle of the old town. yes. the honesty of the room cleaning staff. i left behind a white short sleeve cardigan. i rang the hotel within 18 hrs but was informed twice that there was nothing left in the hotel or handed in by the cleaning staff. i know that i left it on the bed furtherest from the door. i also left behig a fold away pair of hugo boss sunglass. all in all these losses have cost me 300 euros. |

Pleasant and helpful man on duty on arrival. Apparently nice room - in tower with separate sittting area BUT spoiled by lack of air conditioning which is a MUST in Spain in June . No airconditioning - stiflingly hot - very noisy ( garbage trucks in early hours, people shouting in street etc) but too hot to close windows. Simply told airconditioning 'broken' with no explanation. |

Perfect location, first time in my life I spent night next to cathedral ( 10 meters ;) in old city; hotel is situated in old building without perfect comfort but it's enough to spend good time in it. We left for all night our car next to the enter to the hotel, perfect ;) |
