They include the elegant Wharncliffe and state-of-the-art Woburn Suites which can both seat 450 delegates theatre style or 350 people for dinner. Meetings at Russell Square is a purpose built business centre offering extensive facilities for meetings of 2 to 90 people, with dedicated on-site technical and secretarial support.

Please note that the Hotel Russell is now non-smoking throughout.

Easy check in, and friendly reception staff

When returning to the hotel on New years eve, very cold it was not possible to have any hot drinks in the bar which I felt was very poor.

Very nice building, an entry to the Underground just around the corner, the trainstation is nearby.

The water wasn't hot enough to take a relaxing bath.

poor plumbing, small rooms. 'Contemporary' room for a £20 surcharge looked like they'd been furnished at Ikea.

It's location was very appealing and the modern furnishings were beautiful as well as comfortable.

The dining area was perfect for the likes of breakfast and tour groups but not so for dinner. It is a bit too large and open for couples or small groups of people, it made us feel like we were having dinner in a hall or ballroom all on our own!

Ease of access to e.g. British Museum

Our room was too big to be heated by the one heater - and there was no heating in the bathroom at all so if you left the door open to heat it up the room itself got very cold

Relaxed , and really good value especially givem good location. Ten mins walk from covent garden.

We paid a little extra for a park view room which was lovely! The Harrods voucher wasnt avaialable but we had a wonderful afternoon tea with champagne instead! All staff were courteous and helpful! Will definately being going again! Thank you!

When we arrived in the Hotel Russell, appeared to be no booking for us. We considered it very inconvenient that we had to wait quite a while for the confirmation. Enjoyed a fabulous weekend. Hotel easy to find and in good location. Next to a tube station. Nice decor & surroundings. Staff friendly and polite. Rooms very nice.

The Harrods voucher never arrived. Instead we were offered a choice of things, we chose a bottle of champagne as none of the other offers, afternoon tea & money off the restaurant fitted into out plans. The bottle was in our room but once we'd opened it we noticed it was cava. It was a bit watery. My husband mentioned this whist waiting for me downstairs and it was replaced with champagne.
